Jane Biggs

She graduated from East High School in 1951. Following graduation, she worked for Butler Manufacturing for 40 years in the HR Department. Jane enjoyed traveling and had been to over 30 countries. She enjoyed sports, especially her Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs! She was very church oriented and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church for many years where she was Chairman of the Social Committee. Jane was also involved with the Ball Club at church and helped set up decorations and helped serve the meal. Jane loved chocolate, the Texas Tenors, and baking. Her treats were the best!

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Blanche Biggs; brother, Edgar Biggs; sister, Norma Reece; and sister, Marilyn Jeanne Bartlett.

She is survived by her great friend, Marilyn Van Trump; nieces, Mary Ann Sirna and Peggy Sue Porter; and nephew, Charles Edward Bartlett.

A special thank you to Joy Kudart, a great friend and neighbor, who stayed in the home for 24hrs a day the past two weeks giving Jane love and support.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 13, at Oakwood Baptist Church, 7600 Lee's Summit Rd, Kansas City, MO 64139. Private burial for the family will be at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oakwood Baptist Church.
