James was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on April 1, 1943, to Al and Dorothy Little. He graduated from Central High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He received his MBA from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
Jim met his wife, Candy, in Kansas City in 1966. They married in 1967 and recently celebrated their 57th anniversary.
Jim was employed by several Kansas City firms, including Hallmark Cards, Unitog Company, as well as home health organizations. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection.
He is survived by his wife, Candy, of the home, daughters Jennifer Majetich and Christy (John) Schock, and grandsons Brett, Nick, and Alex Majetich, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
