James Franklin Harrel, 82 of Raymore, Mo., went to be with his Lord due to heart failure on November 26, 2014. A celebration of his life will begin with visitation from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, November 30 2014 at Red Bridge Baptist Church with funeral services following. Memorial contributions may be made to Haiti Home of Hope, KC Hospice House, and/or Alzheimer’s Association. Jim was born November 25, 1932 and grew up in Joplin, Mo. He served in the Army National Guard for six years and worked for KCP&L for 35 years. Jim’s Faith and family were everything to him. He was happily married to Imogene for 43 years. He was then blessed to find love again with Doris for 12 years. Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Art. He is survived by his brother Ronnie and family of Texas; brother Gerry and family of Carl Junction, Mo; daughter Jamie; son Bryan and wife Terri; two grandchildren, Connor and Chloe, all of Raymore, Mo. He is also survived by Doris’ daughter Deb and husband Eric Berg; four grandchildren: Rachel, Laura, Scotty and Kevin-all of KC.
