Jakob was born on June 16, 1986 in Rockford, Illinois. Raised in Darien Wisconsin, he then moved to Gardner Kansas during middle school. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, and outdoor adventures.
Jakob was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Sue Vanlandingham (Crain) & father James Eugene Vanlandingham.
He is survived by his brother, Jameson Vanlandingham, sister, Ashley Schmuhl and husband Justin, nephew and niece, Jaxon & Taylor and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jakob Donald Vanlandingham, age 32, of Gardner, Kansas passed away on Tuesday July 3, 2018.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5th, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home. A private placement of his ashes will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery in the Garden Walk of Memories.
