Jack was born January 11th, 1927, in Denver Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, his only brother, and his first wife Ethel.
Jack served in the US Navy. He jokes that he never made it on a ship.
Jack graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City, Kansas.
He retired from the Rock Island Railroad. He was a longtime member of the Avondale United Methodist Church. He attended First Baptist Church of Kearney.
He leaves behind his wife Kathe Lewis-Boyer, his children Jack Boyer (Karen), Dianne Vescovo (Paul), Marsha Smith (Alan), plus grandchildren and great grandchildren, and his stepchildren.
A visitation for Jack will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64119. A funeral service will occur at 12:00 PM Saturday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Graveside service will occur at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 29th at the New Hope Cemetery, Liberty, MO 64068.
