CMSGT (Retired) Howard Glenn Valentine, 79, passed away December 7, 2015. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1111 W. Foxwood Drive, Raymore, Missouri 64083. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mason Home in Columbia, Missouri or St. Paul’s UMC.
Mr. Valentine was born January 31, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio. He retired after serving 26 years in the U.S. Air Force, as a highly decorated Chief Master Sergeant. After retiring he worked at the Marine Corps Housing area at Richards Gebaur.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 58 years, Jimmie Sue Valentine, and their family, Victoria (David) Sisel, Robert (Carla) Valentine, and James (Beth) Valentine, and Randy (Laura) Owens; grandchildren, Lauren, Derek, Amanda and Jacob; three great-grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.
