Helen Ruth Jackson Andrews, 98, Kansas City in Clay County, MO, passed away May 2, 2014 at St Luke’s Hospital of the Northland. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Monday, May 5th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow the services in the Laclede Cemetery, Laclede, MO.
Helen was born October 25, 1915 in Hiawatha, KS and had lived in Kansas City since 1953. She was preceded in death in 1987 by her husband, Dr. Berneil Andrews, a brother, Glenn Jackson, and a sister, Mary Katherine Pomeroy.
Survivors include her three children, Jane A. Thompson, Dr. Katharine Blaisdell and husband, Carter, Dr. James Andrews and wife, Luann; 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
