Gina is survived by her husband, Larry DeGraff; daughters Annie DeGraff and Cynthia Haynes; her five grandchildren; and her siblings, Wayne Lang, Bill Lang, Rob Lang, and Wendy Melson. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Lang, and mother, Ivy Lang, née Siegl.
Gina was born on August 15, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Hickman Mills High School and earned a Bachelor of Science from Missouri State University. She met her future husband, Larry, while they both worked for a Christian ministry in Texas, and they were married on June 23rd, 1984. After the birth of their first child, they moved back to Kansas City—Larry working as a commercial artist and Gina as a full-time homemaker. She later enjoyed serving her community through employment at multiple public libraries.
Gina loved gardening, playing acoustic guitar, reading, and hiking (especially in the mountains), but her gentle spirit and kindness to those around her are what she will be most remembered for. She selflessly loved serving her family, friends, church, and anyone else who was lucky enough to enter her life
