Gary Wayne Snow

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Justice Marie Rodgers of Caruthersville, Missouri.

Born on June 5, 1944, in Caruthersville, Missouri, Gary was the son of Richard and Karnease Snow. He grew up alongside four brothers—Allen, Charles, Don and Bill—all of whom preceded him in death—and one sister, Pam (married to Jerry), along with numerous nieces and nephews who cherished him.

Gary embraced life wholeheartedly. While completing his education, he was drafted into the Air Force, spending four years stationed in England. During this time, he married his first wife, Kay Malin, with whom he shared a deep and enduring friendship over their 23 years together and continued until his passing.

In 1998, he married Susan, the love of his life, whom he adored and proudly celebrated for her many accomplishments. Through this marriage, Gary welcomed four beautiful stepdaughters—Meredith (married to Zac), Jena (married to Adam), Kaitlin (married to Derek), and Shelby—along with six wonderful grandchildren: Kobe( Kylie) Taylor, Carter, Rosalie, Louis, and Everett, all of whom he delighted in spoiling.

Gary had a zest for adventure, finding joy in travel, playing golf, and especially cherishing his trips to the river with his beloved nephew, Billy. Their conversations and shared experiences brought him great happiness.

He was a avid Kansas City Sports fan, watching several Royals and Chiefs games – claiming each chiefs win with a “Never a doubt!”

He was a man who understood the beauty of family, knowing that with a big family comes big love. His generous spirit, caring nature, and ability to embrace both the joys and challenges of family life left a profound impact on all who knew him.

As we say goodbye to Gary Snow, we remember a man who found a special place in heaven and brought light and laughter to our lives. He will be missed tremendously, but his legacy of love and joy will remain in our hearts forever.
