Fred W. Brown

FRED W. BROWN Fred W. Brown, 82, passed away March 10, 2016 surrounded by his family. Fred was born April 16, 1933 and married Shirley Stoner on May 10, 1953. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. In addition to his wife he leaves behind children Lora Guito (Ken), Brad Brown (Marienne) and Leah Burkhead (Tom); and grandchildren, Alec, Cydney, Jeanne, Tieg, Charlie and Jack. Fred was a lifelong Kansas City resident graduating from the University of Missouri with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He had an accomplished career as a mechanical contractor. His greatest passions included duck hunting, fishing and training his Labrador retrievers. Fred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend. Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2016 at 1 pm with service following at 2 pm at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to Life and Liberty Outdoors, 2506 SW 45th St, Amarillo, Tx 79110 or charity of choice in memory of Fred Brown.
