Such a fun trip to Branson! We went to Andy Williams Christmas show and stayed in the cutest cottage with cousins Penny, Johnny, and Frida. We had beautiful weather for December and had a great time. Wish we could’ve made another trip back

Love you grandpa! Im extremely grateful we got to celebrate your 90th birthday with you… you got to sing your heart out in front of us all just like you loved doing your entire life. We will all miss you so much. Please watch over Grandma and the rest of all your loved ones (which I know there are a lot 🥲 ) Xoxo

Although we never met your dad I know he was a fine man. 90 years and to be able to celebrate with all of you.  What a blessing.  

It’s so hard to say good-bye.  May all the special moments and memories you had with him carry you through.  Big hugs.

When my 5 boys were little we came to visit and uncle Gene took us all around Kansas City. He said he was Mean Gene the Touring Machine. That’s what the boys have always called him.

Gene was the first person to greet us when we moved to Summit Street over 43 years ago.  What a great run we had with the guy from the South side of Chicago!
We lost a BEST FRIEND but never all the GREAT MEMORIES together!
