Coy Douglas Darby

Coy was beloved to his significant other Lucinda Blair for over 22 years. He was a devoted father to his four children Brad (Nicole) Darby, Shannon Darby, Taylor Darby, and son Michael (Emily) Darby. He also leaves behind four grandchildren.

Coy worked at General Motors for over 30 years but was better known for his love of riding motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his brother Gary Darby and sister-in-law Jerri (McCloud) Darby but will be remembered by all who knew him for his sense of humor and strong work ethic that he instilled in his children and grandchildren alike.

A funeral service celebrating Coy's life will be held on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 at 10am at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home on Blue Ridge Boulevard in Kansas City, MO USA where family will receive visitors from 9am until time of service at 10am with reception to follow. At 1pm, a private burial will be held at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens.
