Clyde (Butch) Junior Johnson, age 78, of North Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at his home. He was born in Dawn, Missouri on September 3, 1945, the son of Clyde Mantzei Johnson and Blanche Levanna Johnson. Butch is now reunited with his wife Glenda (Boots) Johnson of 60 years in Heaven.
Butch worked hard to provide for his family and spent 23 years as an iron worker with Mo-Kan Iron Workers Union Local 10. Before and during retirement, he enjoyed his passions of fishing, hunting and the great outdoors. He was grounded in his Christian faith and valued his family above all.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Frances Howe (sister), Donald Ray (Bud) Johnson (brother), Christine Elam (daughter), and James (Jim) Johnson (grandson).
Survivors include his daughter, Cindy (Roger) Blevins, Kansas; two granddaughters, Stacy (Chris, Regan, Briella) Engle-Tjaden, Kansas, Tiffany (Kamala) Stacker, Kansas; two sisters, Lois Marie O’Halloran, Florida, Martha Ellen (Dennis) Sanders, Louisiana, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Clyde will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Missouri City Cemetery, 548 Cemetery Hill Road, Missouri City, MO 64072.
