Clayton James Stapp

The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 AM Monday, June 17th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where a visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with rosary prayers at 10:45 AM. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, KCMO.

Clayton was born November 10, 1925 to Otis Jack and Lena Pearl (Garrett) Stapp in Muskogee, OK.

He lived most of his life in Gladstone, MO.

In 1962 Clayton began his employment with Trans World Airlines where he retired as a machinist.

In addition to his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kathryn Stapp; a daughter, Theresa Stapp; a son, Stephen Stapp; and a sister, Rita Bing.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Starling and Kathleen Thompson; his companion, Barbara Smedley; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
