Christopher P. Wheeler, 47, of Edwardsville, KS, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2017. He grew up in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Chris was a hard working, fun loving individual who went above and beyond to provide the best possible life for his wife and children. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was a friend to everyone he met. Chris loved music, trips to the lake, and above all, spending time with his family.
He was known by all as a dedicated, responsible, friendly man who would always lend a hand when able. His life was taken too soon, and he will be missed by all those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer Wheeler, his two daughters Courtney and Kelsey Wheeler, his parents Pat and Shirley Wheeler, his sister Heather McCormick and brother-in-law Brandon McCormick, nieces Morgan and Brooklynn McCormick, his sister-in-law Michelle Smith, niece Kaitlynn Smith, nephews Cody and Jacob Smith, great-nephew Ayden Macias, sister and brother-in-law John and Carly Kelley, and sister and brother-in-law Sarah and James Hake, and nieces Leighanna and Kensi Hake.
The visitation will be held at 12:30 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 7 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
