Joe Wynn, 79, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015. Visitation will be Thursday, July 30th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Service at 1:30 p.m. Burial in Mt. Joe was born on February 10, 1936, in Kansas City, MO to Carl and Jean Wynn. He was a football fanatic. He played football at Raytown High School, University of Missouri, semi-pro and a season for the St Louis Cardinals. Joe was a Kansas City Police Officer with the motorcycle traffic division. Joe spent 25 years at Armco Steel. He completed his Masters of Arts in Management and Marketing. He loved to play racquetball and even won a couple of state tournaments. Joe enjoyed skiing with his children and made it an annual trip. He adored taking pictures of his grandchildren and anyone that came into his focus. He loved family and his dogs.
Joe is preceded in death by his Father, Carl Wynn, Mother, Jean Wynn, Wife, Sally Ann Wynn, Wife, Honna Wynn and son, Tony Van Trump. He is survived by his sister, Carol Wynn Messner (Roe); daughters, Debbie Jones (Kevin), Holly Litchkowski (Steve), Terri Johnson (Rick), Stacey Mora (Greg); grandchildren, Justin Wynn, Nicholas Flatbush, Emily Hillman (Matt), Robbie Van Trump (Hali), Richard Van Trump (Lindsey),
Alex Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Megan Litchkowski, Adam Litchkowski, Austin Mora and Brandon Mora; four great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was in pain for several years and is now at peace.
