She was born on March 25, 1959 in Kansas City, Missouri to William and Lucille Speise. She grew up in South Kansas City, attending Center High School. She graduated in 1977 and went on to receive her degree in Journalism from University of Missouri. In 1982, she married Mark William Green and they settled in St. Louis. She was a proud stay at home mom to their daughter, Miranda. They moved back to Kansas City in 1998.
She is survived by her daughter Miranda Green (Brad Small) and their children, Brody and Jackson; brother Steve Speise and his family, Janet, Matthew and Brian; and her nephew David Weaver and his family, Diane, Genevieve and Juliette.
Camille was preceded in death by her mother Lena Lucille Speise, her father William Donald Speise and her sister Roxanne Weaver.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved dearly. She loved baking and researching new recipes. She loved decorating her house (and redecorating), sewing and traveling. She was a fantastic homemaker, rehabber, and gardener.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00PM. Black attire not necessary as she loved all colors especially polka dots!
