Brenda Susan Grego (Becker), 68, passed away Saturday, January 5 , 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends in the comfort of her home in Gladstone, Missouri.
Brenda was born May 27, 1950, in Axtel, Kansas to Leonard and Rita (Holthaus) Becker. She worked for Im-Pres Label and Sales Corporation of North Kansas City, Missouri for over 20 years before becoming part owner in Tribeca Concrete of Claycomo, Missouri in 2005. Brenda spent much of her time surrounded by her large family and abundance of friends, playing cards, taking trips and simply laughing. She was an amazingly loving, compassionate and generous mother, sister, aunt and grandmother who enjoyed her casino visits, cocktails, and company of her Pomeranians, close friends and extended family.
Brenda is survived by her sons, Mark Grego (Kristi) and Jeff Grego (Lisa), both of Kansas City, Missouri, brother, Bill Becker of Gladstone, Missouri, sister, Pam Becker of Gladstone, Missouri, sister, Nancy Calvert (Chuck) of Kansas City, Missouri and brother, Bob Becker (Stacey) of Kansas City, Missouri; Four grandchildren, Zach Grego, Dylan Grego, Becker Grego and Reese Grego; She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family, friends and others whose lives Brenda touched are invited to McGilley Antioch Chapel located at 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64119 on Thursday, January 10th. A rosary will begin at 4:30 PM and visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass will be held on Friday, January 11th at 11:00 AM at Saint Charles Borromeo Parish located at 900 NE Shady Lane Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64118. Lunch to follow.
