She was born on July 9, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Earl Woodworth and Eleanor Wilson Woodworth. Bonnie graduated from Northeast High School. She married her husband, Charles Williams in 1953. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. She worked as an accountant at the Jackson County Court House, where she later retired in 1996. She was a strong willed, independent, and even sometimes stubborn woman, who was still mowing her own grass and staining the deck even at 89 years old. She enjoyed nothing more than watching the Chiefs and Royals. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent countless hours at the casino, planting flowers, baking in her kitchen and loved her four-piece chicken McNuggets from McDonalds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Warner Williams; sisters: Norma Jean Birch, Nadine Wright, Betty Lou Lairmore; brothers: Robert Earl Woodworth, Richard Woodworth. She is survived by her son Steven Charles Williams; sisters Jo Ann Broyles, Sandra Sue Arnold; grandchildren, Mindee Sue Snider, Mathew Steven Williams, Maloree Jane Valet; great grandchildren, Tyler Richard Snider, Kaitlyn Marie Snider, Braxton Ely Williams, Bryston Mathew Williams, Owen Robert Pointer, Evan Charles Pointer and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by funeral services from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Pallbearers will include Tyler Snider, Kaitlyn Snider, Mikalah Zimmer, Mathew Williams, Jared Valet, and Raymond Neselroad.
