She was born on December 16, 1927 in Shirley, Arkansas the daughter of Mark and Lola (Hackett) Rushing.
She was married to Woodrow Stephens for over 60 years and he preceded her in death.
Bonnie was a very active member of Crossroads Church for over 20 years. She worked in the electronic crystals field for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed working in her yard and attending fitness classes with her friends at the local YMCA and Grain Valley Community Center.
Bonnie is survived by Four children: Dan (wife: Kathy) Stephens, Darrel (wife: Sharon) Stephens, Janet (Husband: R.D.) Hollingsworth and Mona Boston. Eight grandchildren: Terri (Allen) Nickel, Brian (Susan) Stephens, Brad (Tandra) Stacer, Kellen (Courtney) Stephens, Sara (Dave) Maguire, Lacy (Jon) Stephens, Holly Stephens and Hannibal Boston. Five great grandchildren: Brittnee (Sean) Pinkerton, Keith (Erin) Finnigan, Allie Stacer, Karson Boston and Caroline Maguire. One great-great grandson: Jameson Finnigan.
Visitation will be on Friday October 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, Missouri, Graveside Services will be following at 2:00 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to: Crossroads Church Building Fund or Kansas City Hospice
