A Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 at the Church of the Nativity, 3800 West 119th Street, Leawood, Kansas 66209. Interment will be at Mount Moriah Cemetery South 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131 immediately following Memorial Mass.

Beverly was born July 30th, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska and was the oldest of eight children. She is survived by her children and their spouses, P. Shawn (Dianne) McCann, Mary P. (John) Marsh, Catherine J. (Tom Jr.) Burge, and Suzanne E. (Michael) Carlson; sister, Mary Jean Sims; in-laws, Elmer (Kay) McCann, Jan O’Brien, Joe Casey, Betty O’Brien; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Genevieve (Glynn) O’Brien; her husband, Maurice D. McCann; her son, James T. McCann; siblings and their spouses, Robert (Patricia) O’Brien, Louise (Ken) Miller, Colleen (Bill) Johnston and Henry Murray, William O’Brien, Michael O’Brien, Catherine Casey; in-laws and spouses, Betty (Fred) Hipsley, John (Mary) McCann and Dan Sims.
