Barbara Jean Peeples (Rankins) of Harrisonville, MO died on November 4, 2018 at the age of 79. Barbara was born near Booneville, AR and was the valedictorian of her graduating class at Booneville High School. After graduating from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR, she became a grade school teacher. She was preceded in death by parents Granville and Verna Rankins (Townsend); sister Emma Parker; and brother Dale Rankins. She is survived by husband Rev. Edwin Peeples; daughter Paige Welhoff and her husband Scott; son Rev. Chase Peeples and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren Cole Welhoff, Audrey Welhoff, Julian Peeples and Jameson Peeples; brother Truman Rankins and his wife Sharon; and beloved nieces and nephews.
