Barbara Jo Lord

Barbara Jo Lord is survived by her daughter Dianna and her two sons Steven and Bryan. She was a care-free fun-loving mother who everyone enjoyed being around since she was often the life of the party. She doted on her three grandchildren Maisie, Gabriel, and Spencer as if they were her own.

Barbara spent the majority of her life in Kansas City where she was born and raised before spending several years in her favorite place in the world, Palm Springs, CA. She eventually moved back to Kansas City to be closer to her family where her support and love was most appreciated. Barbara was much loved by all and will be greatly missed. She will forever live in our hearts.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m., with a service following at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 19. The services will be at Mt. Moriah Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
