His legacy includes eldest daughter Leigh and granddaughter Linnea; son, Nick, daughter-in-law Rose, and their three children Hailey, Molly, Rheanna and great grandchild Avery; and his youngest son Luke. Tim was a tire man, a storyteller, a farmer, an artist, and a lover of dessert. His primary goal in life was to have a family and live on a farm. Tim could fix anything, a skill he learned as a result of his ability to break anything. He lived in the moment in a way that few will ever learn.
The most important thing in the world was the pecan pie he was eating, the bulldozer he was driving, the book he was reading, the story he was telling, the granddaughters in his golf cart, or the people he was laughing with. He believed that the journey was more important than the destination, and we are blessed to have been a part of his. While he leaves behind brothers Mike and Dwight, their parents Bob and Cleta have been waiting to greet him and cousin Ruth is there holding the door.
We will celebrate Tim’s life and all he meant to us on with a visitation from 2:00-3:00pm, service at 3:00pm, all on Saturday, December 11th, with time for telling stories and sharing following the service at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS.
