Terry Jo Hendersons’ journey started January 3, 1957 when Barbra Jean Henderson gave birth at Bethany Hospital in Wyandotte, Kansas. She was the 3rd oldest of her mother's beloved 6-Pack. Terry is preceded in death by her sister Stephanie "Kay" Henderson.
Terry Jo attended Vernon Elementary, Central Middle School, and Wyandotte H.S where she captured the 1974 girls state indoor track title. Terry was also active in theater, basketball and soon after graduation went on to pursue her education at Baker University.
As a young woman Terry Jo was full of determination, perseverance, and kindness. She was a Jehovah witness for many years her faith in Jehovah guided her path. Terry had a very successful sales career with Xerox and Johnson & Johnson where her achievements were recognized and rewarded, earning her President’s Club honors multiple times before retiring with Johnson & Johnson.
Terry was also a stunning 5'9 model for The Model Shop here in Kansas City. She would continue to do runway shows, television commercials and films. One proud accomplishment are the many Hallmark cards Terry was featured on. One of Terry’s proudest achievements was going back to school at 50 years old to complete her Bachelors in Communications at the University of Phoenix.
The friendships made from UoP led her to devote her time to the Kansas City Girls Choir where she mentored young women in health, beauty and self-esteem. She was a mentor and role model for so many young men and women within the organization.
She leaves her spirit and memory through her two children; Nathaniel E Robinson III and Kristen Tennelle Robinson and their father Nathaniel E Robinson Jr. Her daughter in law Kimberly Ann Robinson and grandchild Camilla Jade Robinson. Mother, Barbra J Henderson and sister Lisa L Henderson her brothers Jeffery T Henderson, Anthony "Tony" Henderson and Micheal L Henderson along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, relatives and friends.
