Sue had a long career as a computer programmer and retired from Scoular, where she was known for her hard work and dedication.
Sue was a woman of many talents and passions. She loved solving jigsaw puzzles, had a unique knack for cooking upside-down turkeys, and enjoyed building miniatures with incredible attention to detail. Most of all, she cherished spoiling her family, a testament to her generous and loving spirit.
She is survived by her daughter Denise Ervin, her son Doyle Ervin (Amy), and her cherished granddaughter Tessa Ervin. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Townsend (Don), her niece LaLani Lash, great-niece Ashley Totten, and nieces Angela Hochstatter and Heather Frohbieter. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Alberta Catron, and her beloved husband, Homer Carlisle (Carl) Ervin.
Sue’s memory will be honored on Tuesday, December 17th, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Leavenworth County Humane Society, causes Sue cared deeply about.
