Shawn was born on September 19, 1974 in Kansas City, Kansas to Kevin and Brenda James. He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1994. After graduating high school, he worked with his dad and brother in the family business.
Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents Charlie Ira and Eleanor Marie James and Carl and Venita Catron. He is survived by his parents Kevin and Brenda James (Lenexa, Kansas), sister Linda Rogers (Kansas City, Kansas), brother Charlie and wife Renee James (DeSoto, KS), 2 nieces Kaitlyn Rogers and Taylor James and 1 nephew Christian Rogers. Shawn had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 1:30-2:30 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112. Funeral Service will be immediately following at 2:30 also at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are Kevin James, Charlie James, Brian Broughard, Troy Jagusch, Chris Ichrist, Carl Boyd, Christian Rogers and Hans Michael James.
