Sharon Kay Coleman, 67, of Tonganoxie, passed away November 1, 2017. Memorial services will be 6:00pm, Monday, November 6th with a gathering to follow at Wallula Christian Church, 23785 139th Street, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wallula Building Fund.
Sharon was born October 27, 1950 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Frank and Helen Graves. She graduated from Washington High School and worked as a secretary for KU Medical Center in the Research Department, before leaving to take care of her family. Sharon married David Coleman on September 12, 1970. She was an impeccable house keeper and always had something delicious cooking. Sharon was also a wonderful seamstress. She was an active member of the Wallula Christian Church and part of their Missions Committee. Sharon will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 47 years, David Coleman; her daughters, Kristina Hale (Steve), and Erin Stevens (T.J.); her grandchildren, Alyssa Folsom (Elzy), Dustin Coleman, Brenden Hale, Jackson Stevens, and Alex Stevens; as well as seven great-grandchildren, one brother, three sisters and other relatives and friends.
