Sarah Ann "Sally" Stewart

Sarah Ann “Sally” Stewart, 63, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015. A visitation will be held Friday, February 6th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 7th at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. Interment will follow services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Sally was born February 27, 1951 in Arkansas to Owen and Lucille (Pool) Brewer. Sally moved to Kansas City in December, 1957. On January 6, 1974 she married James Stewart. She worked as a lab technician doing clinical research before retiring in 2004. Sally was an excellent cook and in her free time enjoyed going to the boats. She had a great sense of humor and could often be found watching Cops or Cheaters on TV.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2007; her parents; a brother, David Brewer and her sister, Linda Brewer. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Steven Stewart and his wife Jenny; brothers, Lonny “Teet” Brewer and his wife Judy, and Paul “Bitty” Brewer and his wife Laurie; grandsons, Steven Stewart, Jr. and Zachary Stewart and granddaughter, Haley Stewart.
