Ronda Edith Foster

April 14th,1942 - June 29th 2024

Ronda Foster 82, of Basehor KS, passed away June 29th, 2024 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.

Ronda was born April 14th,1942 to Rondall and Margaret (Pike) Malott in Kansas City, Kansas where she resided for 52 years. She met her loving husband Stephen L Foster in 1959 while attending First Southern Baptist. They dated through High School and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1960. In 1962 he finally won her hand in marriage on March 24th 1962. They had 2 children Robin Lynn Foster Calovich 61, of Overland Park, Kansas and Lesli Diane Higbee 56 of Kansas City, Kansas.

Ronda worked in downtown Kansas City, Missouri as a data entry clerk for 30 plus years until she retired in 1990. In 1994 her and her husband built a house in Basehor Kansas where she resided until death. Ronda and Steve were married for 62 wonderful years.

Ronda is survived by her husband Stephen Foster. 2 Daughters Robin and Lesli. Her big sister Murle White of Kansas City, Kansas and Her baby Brother Dr Ron Malott of Lathrop, Missouri. 5 grandchildren: Mindy Rollwagen, Andrew Higbee Diane Simanowitz, Luke Higbee Sr, and Daniel Rogers. 11 great grandchildren: Larissa Rollwagen, Dominick and Jewliana Gutierrez, Gage, Kylie, Miracle, Hope, and Skylar Higbee, Myla and Ethan Simanowitz, Luke Higbee Jr, 2 great great grandchildren Yalina and Emir Rollwagen.

Ronda will be missed so much by the family and the many friends she has made along the years. We are asking to please dress in bright colors as we celebrate her life and the memories which have touched your heart. The family would like to encourage anyone who would like to speak at the funeral service and share a memory to do so.

Services will be held at Chapel Hill Butler Funeral Home 701 N 94th St in Kansas City Kansas 66112.

Visitation from 2:00-3:00 pm on Saturday July 6, 2024. Followed by her Funeral Services at 3:00 pm.

Graveside services immediately follows where she will be laid to rest next to her Mother and Father in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Jay Malott, Andrew Higbee, Eric Simanowitz, Daniel Rogers, Tim White and Kent Ragland.
