It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert “Rob” Leroy Branting, a beloved 66-year-old father who departed this world on January 5, 2024. He left us unexpectedly and will be missed dearly.
Rob was born on September 25, 1957 in North Platte, Nebraska and his journey through life was marked by his unwavering love, kindness, and determined spirit. A devoted father, he touched the lives of many he encountered, leaving a lasting impact on family, friends, and community alike.
As a sales professional, Rob excelled in his field, earning respect and admiration for his dedication, expertise, and passion. He approached every challenge with resilience and a positive attitude, inspiring those around him to strive for excellence.
In addition to his professional achievements, Rob was a pillar of strength for his daughters. He was a loving parent, providing unwavering support and nurturing an environment filled with love and laughter. His presence brought joy to family gatherings and celebrations, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.
Rob’s zest for life extended beyond his work and family. In his leisure time, Rob enjoyed Chiefs football, walking his dog, Trixie, gardening, and cooking, finding solace and joy in his pursuits. He believed in the importance of balance, embracing both work and leisure with equal enthusiasm.
Robert Leroy Branting is survived by his father Leroy Branting; brothers Bruce Branting and Casey Branting; sister Tina Larreau; daughters Brie Zagoria and Nickie Branting (Andrew); grandchildren Callie and Cooper Zagoria; and his beloved dog Trixie, who will continue to cherish the memories of his love and laughter. While his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
May Rob rest in peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all during this difficult time.
