Lettitia Ann Wyman, 73, of Shawnee, KS., passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 24, 2011. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, beloved mother and loving grandmother. Lettitia was born on July 2, 1937 in Kansas City, KS to Robert E. and Rhea (Mason) Dunkelbarger. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1955. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to many different sites in the United States, their favorite being Yellow Stone National Park. Lettitia spent her spare time embroidering and crocheting. The best times were spent with her children and grandchildren. Lettitia is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Roxanne Wyman, and sister Polly Halbert. Survivors include the love of her life, her husband of 54 years Bernard John Wyman of the home, children Denise Trabon and her husband Michael of Gardner, KS., and Scott D. Wyman and his wife Jenny of Shawnee, KS. Left behind to cherish her memory are her 7 grandchildren and their spouses, Kim (Mike), Brandon, Derek, Troy (Brittany), Samantha (Beau) and Ashley. She will be sadly missed by her 3 great grandchildren Caleb, Emma, and Jackson. Lettitia is also survived by her brother Larry Dunkelbarger and his wife Norma of Ballston-Spa, NY. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. Internment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 at the funeral home.
