James R. Parker, 59, Mission, Kansas passed away December 10, 2020. A funeral service will be live-streamed at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 on Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home’s Facebook page at facebook.com/chapelhillbutler. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1-2 PM, Wednesday at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. James was born on November 10, 1961 to Vernon and Emma Jean Parker. He graduated high school in Topeka, Kansas. He always looked forward to his wonderful visits from his brother Mike. James was a simple man and he received great joy by celebrating every holiday.
James was preceded in death by multiple family members and friends. Survivors include his brother, Mike Parker; sister, Daisy Stallings; brother, Kenneth Parker; niece, Samantha Parker; and cousin, Kathy (Bill) Eble.
The family would like to thank GoodLife Innovations - CLO and Advent Shawnee Mission for the wonderful care of James throughout his life and last days.
