Just so everyone knows “Mom” is Dorothy Brown or as family and friends know her affectionately as “Oogie”.
Mom has been “Oogie” for close to 55 years. In the early 70’s she was put into a position that she had to care for, raise, and provide food and shelter for 5 kids. We can’t even imagine what must have been going through her mind back then. She was attending nursing school, working and taking care of us.
Oogie had to push a ton of responsibility onto us but she reinforced it and made sure we could handle it.
Oogie is our mother but she is also more than that. Something even greater a role model and our friend.
Her kids Tom Gunther, David Gunther, Ann Brough, Laurie Wilson and Joseph Brown all owe Oogie a lot. She did one hell of a job raising us. Since she is here but can’t tell us to be quiet she might as well hear our praise. Well done Oogie! Thank You and we love you.
Good night sleep tight don’t let the bed bugs bite walk towards the brightest light. We will see you later.
