Charles Yukio Shiroma, 90, of Kaneohe, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2023. He was born on August 22, 1932 in Ewa, Hawaii, the youngest of seven children to Nabe and Kama Shiroma. After graduating from Waipahu High School and serving in the U.S. Air Force, Charlie worked as an auto body and fender man in his early career, honing his skills in both California and Hawaii. But it was after retirement that he discovered his true artistic passion through CJ Metal Creations, a small business he started with Jean, his beloved wife of 64 years. Charlie's handcrafted pieces traveled around the globe and continue to grace the homes and offices of so many in the local community.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, and children, Wayne Shiroma, Chris (Marissa) Shiroma, and Stacey Shiroma.
Private services were held.
