He was born on May 23, 1934 in Campodimele, Italy. He lived there with his family, helping till the field with oxen, and witnessed the allies liberate Italy from enemy occupation. He immigrated to Canada in 1955, on the a ship called the Roma, at Halifax, Nova Scotia. He gained employment with the CPR and later with the Pulp and Paper industry operating HD machinery until he retired.
His love and passion for hunting and fishing was well known among his family and friends.
Vittorio is predeceased by his father, Benedetto, mother, Lucia, brother, Vincenzo, wife, Maria, father in law, Salvatore, and daughter Belinda.
He is survived by his wife, Raffaela, son Doriano, son Salvatore, wife Galyung, grandson Quinn, sister, Sistina, husband, Gerardo, Sister Vincenza, husband Guiseppe, brother, Tito, wife, Liliana and numerous nephews and nieces.
