It is with a great sense of loss that we have to announce the passing of Jean Gray. Jean was born June 7, 1944 and was from Wolseley, Saskatchewan. Jean passed away at Royal Inland Hospital on April 24, with family at her side. Jean was pre-deceased by her husband Bob and her parents Gladys and Bill. She is survived, and very loved by her two sons, Preston and Sheldon, grand daughter, Samantha and great granddaughter Logan. She will be fondly remembered for her adorable facial expressions, her feisty attitude and for always speaking her mind with very little filter. Jean raised her family in Revelstoke and resided there for forty years where she worked as a care aid. In 2010, Jean moved to Salmon Arm. In retirement, she could often be spotted at the local Walmart, or any of the thrift stores or dollar stores in town. Shopping was Jean’s passion but only if it was on sale or was a good deal. Many, an hour, or two or three was spent by her sons or friends waiting for her to satisfy her passion, and we all think that her favorite words to hear were: “Mom, do you want to hit the yard sales”? To her, they were “the bomb”!
Jean will be sadly missed by all her family including Jaqueline and Victoria.
Rest in Peace Mom, Jean and Grandma. We love you.
