Susan D. Wiley

Co-founder of The Smiley Wiley Breast Cancer Foundation and a veteran State Farm Agent in Jupiter, Fl known for her positive spirit and always smiling face passed away from breast cancer on Thursday, November 24th. She journeyed on, surrounded by those closest to her at her home in Tequesta, Florida. She was 51.

Throughout her life and even through years with breast cancer, Susan believed in living each day to the fullest. Born in Colonia, NJ and growing up in Coral Springs, Fl, she was happiest being near the water. Susan was a swimmer as a child and in high school, where she was part of the first graduating class of Coral Springs High School. Susan lived in the Tequesta/Jupiter area for the last 20+ years.

In regards to cancer, Susan said, "it's doable." This belief and attitude is what motivated her to co-found The Smiley Wiley Breast Cancer Foundation, to help others with breast cancer pay medical expenses.

Always courageous, Susan spent her last years traveling the world and completing her 'bucket list', which included skydiving. Experiencing and enjoying life came naturally to Susan, who was usually found as close to the ocean as possible kayaking, boating and playing. She reported to a close friend that her idea of heaven included an ocean marina. If Susan had a life motto, it was her often stated, "it's all good."

The church that beach-baptized her, Christ Fellowship, will host a celebration of life at Christ Fellowship 5343 Northlake Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, Saturday, December 3rd at 11 am. In true Susan fashion, she asked that only bright colors be worn and NO black. In lieu of flowers, Susan asked that donations be sent to her legacy foundation at www.smileywiley.org.

Susan was pre-deceased by her father Kenneth Wiley but pioneers on with much support and love from those that will miss her dearly.
