Robert E. Edwards Sr.

Bob graduated from Fairview High School in Fairview, North Carolina and continued his education at Clemson University. He married Sandra on June 6, 1964, and together they shared 57 years of marriage.

Bob was a business owner in the screen enclosure business for 60+ years. He was a loving husband and father, an avid lottery player and served his Country in the U. S. Navy for 4 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Edwards; two daughters, Robin Higgs and Elizabeth Edwards; a son, Bob Edwards; six granddaughters, Devyn Hamann, Kendall Higgs, Veronica Edwards, Kacey Edwards, Elaine Evans, Karla Heinrichs; three grandsons, Charles Edwards, Jonathon Evans, Mitchell Heinrichs; a brother, David Edwards and two sisters, Elizabeth Gibson and Laura Foust.

He is predeceased by two daughters, Angela Edwards and Vicki Evans; three brothers, Bill Edwards, Bud Edwards and Ben Edwards and two sisters, Mary Anne Earwood and Francis Buckner.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 9:30 AM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S SR 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. Please arrive by 9:15 am and line up in Lane 3.
