Margaret graduated from Babylon High School in NY. She went on to attend the New York Institute of Technology, earning her Masters Degree in Nursing. She married George Vitale on April 11, 1959 and together they shared 56 years of marriage. Margaret worked as a Nursing Administrator in NY for 32 years before her retirement.
She was the Library President for the Antique Automobile Club of America, District Representative of the United Federation of Doll Clubs, Lt. Governor of the Kiwanis and was a volunteer of the Salvation Army Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, Eric Vitale and George Vitale, III and eight grandchildren, Jessica Dibrino, Christian Vitale, Eric Vitale, Jr., Courtney Gill, Joseph Vitale and Emma Vitale and great grandchildren, Sophee Dibrino, Kylee Dibrino and Charli Gill.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A committal service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Road, Tequesta, FL 33469. Donations may be made in Margaret's memory to the Salvation Army.
