59, our dearly loved son, brother, husband, father and new grandfather, died on August 15th, 2016. John and his beloved wife Michelle Mishcon were brutally murdered in Jupiter Fl, where they lived. Our John was a superb athlete, fisherman, cook, family man and friend. He loved God, and all of us and we loved him. He served in the US Air Force. Our hearts are broken. John is survived by his mother, Helene McLinden Stevens, children John J. IV(Chancey) and Ivy Theresa, baby granddaughter, Jameson, sister Gina Maddox(Doug), nieces Julianna and Nina, and a large extended family. His father Jack Stevens, died in January 2016. A mass of Christian burial, will be Saturday 9/3/16, 10am St Peter Catholic Church 1701 Indian Creek Pkwy, Jupiter FL
