John Alan McDowell “Johnny Mac” age 74 sailed into the sunset on October 20th 2022. Beloved son of the late John Barnes McDowell and Virginia Jackson McDowell. John was born in Kansas City Missouri on January 25th 1948.
He proudly served in the US Navy and completed a tour of duty during the Vietnam era. John was the owner of Paradise Investigations and enjoyed a professionally rewarding career as a Private Investigator. John was an avid car enthusiast and liked driving around town in his Corvette. He loved to travel on cruise ships and often visited Mexico and Islands in the Caribbean.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his step-mother, Maria McDowell.
He is survived by his siblings, Jayne Budar of Summerlin Nevada, Nancy McDowell and Jeff McDowell of Amelia Island Florida.
Services will be at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter Florida 33458 on November 3rd, 10am - 12pm.
