John was born May 2ndh, 1923 and grew up in New York City, NY. He joined the U S
Army in 1942 and served in the Infantry and was sent to England during part of the
German occupation in WW II through 1946. After he returned he later met and married
his wife Emma J Haber on September 6th, 1952. They moved to Florida in 1965 where
they worked side by side and established the family Accounting practice in N. Palm
Beach until they retired in 1990. John enjoyed spending time with family and friends
along with activities such as fishing, working on family history, genealogy and especially
computers. John will be remembered for his dedication to the Church of Jesus Christ of
Later-day Saints, his quirky sense of humor, kindness, compassion and that he was
inspirational to so many that knew him.
John is survived by his two daughters and their husbands; Carol Haber - Crumbley &
Ronald Crumbley, Lovey Haber-Coleman & David Coleman and his 9 grandchildren & 3
great grandchildren.
A visitation for John will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint, 6400 Roebuck Road, Jupiter, FL 33458. A committal service will occur Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at South Florida National Cemetery in Lane 5, 6501 S SR 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
