Donald David Doran

Donald David Don Doran unexpectedly passed away on January 11, 2018. He is survived by his loving daughters, Connie Doran and Denise Detzer (husband Tom). He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise, and son, Donald R. Doran. He is also survived by his beloved Grandchildren, Shawn Bogard (wife Lisa), Tracey Bogard (wife Sharon). Blake Keeling (wife Ali), Mandy Keeling (fiance Scott), and Eric Keeling (girlfriend Nancy); also his Great Grand Children, Natalie, Hannah, Emma and Matthew Bogard, and Emily Keeling; and his sister, Lillian Williams. Don was born in Detroit, Michigan and entered the Marine Corps on February 13, 1951, and attained the rank of Sergeant. He received an honorable discharge on February 12, 1964. He moved to Miami, Florida, where he met his vivacious wife , Louise, at a dance. They shared a lifetime love of dancing all of their married life. Upon moving to North Palm Beach, Florida, they began a business together as residential designers, belonging to the FRDA (Florida Residential Designers Association). He and Louise were also Real Estate Brokers, and later started a construction company, Plantation Development and Construction Company) which was very successful. He was a wonderful husband and father. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17th from 5-8 pm at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. Visitation will begin again on Thursday, January 18th at 10 am with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 11:30 am in the MacArthur Room. Burial will be held at Royal Palm Memorial Garden in West Palm Beach.
