Timothy Roberson

Timothy Leon Roberson, of Jonesboro, GA, received his wings on December 15, 2024, in Stockbridge, Ga. He was 66 years old. He was born on January 27, 1958 and raised in Dothan, AL. He later moved to Jonesboro, GA where he became a devoted business partner with his son-in-law and Daughter at Love and Care Corporation. His work ethic and dedication to his family and community were evident in all that he did.

A man of many passions, Timothy enjoyed traveling, cooking and working with his hands. His skills in mechanics and carpentry showcased his creativity and resourcefulness above all. He cherished the time spent making memories with his family and friends. He really enjoyed the getaways with his son-in-law. Traveling to the mountains, car shows, casinos and discovering new restaurants. He was a devoted brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. His infinite wisdom, laughter, pretty brown eyes, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents; George and Essie Whigham and Allen Ware; his uncle, Ezell Roberson; his brother, Eddie Ward, Tyrone Granger, and his great nephew Tyler Fryer.

He leaves to cherish his memory a step mother; Mary Ralls, two daughters, Leaksha (David) Vaughn and Ashanti Roberson; Five sons; Greg (Taylor) Tiller, Eddie (Tanisha) Pierce, Phillip (Brenda) Pierce, Eric Pierce and Shawn Thompson; Five sisters; Dorthy Whigham, Laura Whigham, Angela Whigham, Celestine Granger and Gussie Ward; three brothers; Edward Ward, Kenneth Ward, and David Reynolds; Four grandchildren; Allerie (Deaquilynn) Blackmon, Joe'khia Thomas, Joseph Thomas Jr., and Beautiful Davis; three great-grandchildren; Alleria Blackmon, Adalynn Blackmon and Rhyzen Thomas, Five nephews; Kenneth Whigham, Vantiez Whigham, Rochun (Tianna) Mathis, Khristopher Whigham and Joshua Whigham and two nieces; Pasha (Steve) Fryer and Kristilyn (Percy) Lambert. Special friends and cousin Johnny Mae Tiller, Tamara Kirkwood, Anthony Wilson Walt, Eddie, Teenager, Larry (Debra) Magwood.

He was the Infinite Papa to many, including Ternisha Blackmon (and family), Tywanda Blackmon (and family), Michael Blackmon (and family) and Raymond Blackmon (and family), Along with numerous beloved family and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Timothy Leon Roberson will be remembered for his love of life and the lasting impact he had on those around him.
