Marjorie Marie Davis

Marjorie M. Davis, 90, of Johnstown, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at her residence. She was born September 17, 1933 in Johnstown, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Edna (Shumate) Lafferty. Marjorie retired from the Johnstown-Monroe Schools after 30 years of service. She was an avid Buckeye fan, loved to cook for her family, and tend her garden and yard. Marjorie was a long time member of Church of the Ascension in Johnstown. Marjorie is survived by two daughters and two sons, Patricia Davis and Kathryn Sharpe both of Johnstown, Ohio, Michael (Michelle) Davis of Ontario, Ohio, and Mark (Kim) Davis of Thornville, Ohio; sisters Carol Boner of Springfield, Ohio and Maxine Davis of Johnstown, Ohio; five grandchildren, Melissa (TJ) Mucha, Jennifer Davis, Bryan (Charlene) Linkous, Tara Davis, and Tricia (Timothy) Stickdorn; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert G. Davis. Family and friends may call from 10a.m.-12p.m. with a service beginning at 12p.m. Monday, November 27, 2023 at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, Ohio 43031.
