Lisa Jean Link-Atkinson

Lisa Jean Link-Atkinson, 61, of Pataskala, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at her residence. She was born on May 28, 1962 in Columbus, OH, a daughter to Robert and Pearl (Pertee) Link. Lisa graduated from Johnstown-Monroe High School in 1980 and graduated from Asbury College in 1984 with a Bachelor’s degree in education. She worked for the Columbus city school district as a kindergarten teacher for 40 plus years. Lisa was also a member at Infinite Church for three years. She is survived by her sons, S.T. Atkinson and Jaymie (Katelyn) Atkinson; mother, Pearl Link; siblings, Matthew (Hope) Link and Jenny (Sam) Shults; nieces and nephews, Meghan (Logan) Malone, Christopher Link, Samuel Shults and Mandy Shults; beloved pet and companion, Mimi and many dearly loved aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and Easthaven Elementary School family. Lisa is preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Shawn Atkinson and father, Robert Link. Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation will take place. Memorial visitation will be from 3:30-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Infinite Church, 175 E. Main St., New Albany, OH 43054. Memorial service will follow at 5:30 p.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Condon officiating, fellowship meal to follow the service.
