Jeanne Louise King

Jeanne Louise (Greenwood) King, 93, went to be with the Lord October 5, 2024. She was born on December 1, 1930 in Columbus, OH, a daughter to the late Ralph and Helen (Hulett) Smith. Jeanne was a graduate of Alexandria High School. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry King; son, Mark Greenwood; brothers, Ronald and Larry (Luanne) Smith; favorite aunt, Hazel Hulett; uncle, Louie Smith and step-daughters, Debby King and Linda Goldfarb. Jeanne is survived by her son, Dean (Lisa) Greenwood of Lithopolis; daughter, Linda (Dewey) Gibson of Florida; daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Modica of Mentor, Ohio; step-daughter, Diane (Don) Kauffman of Gahanna and Sam Goldfarb; sister-in-law, Susan Smith of Johnstown; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She lived at Abbington Pickerington for seven years and was involved in many activities. Jeanne worked at Davidson Green Volkswagon and State of Ohio. She belonged to Eastview Methodist Church and Reynoldsburg where she sang in the choir for many years. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Jenkins officiating. Private family graveside service.
