Douglas Piper

Douglas is survived by his loving parents, Larry and Judith, his beloved daughter, Ashlyn, his treasured fiance, Peggy Welch and her two precious daughters, Nicole and Katlynn Welch. He is also

lovingly survived by two brothers, Bruce (Karen) Piper, Dennis Piper, one sister, Hope (Matthew) Link, one niece, Meghan (Logan) Malone, and two nephews, Christopher Link and AustinPiper. He was preceded in death by his kind-hearted sister-in-law, Kimberlee Piper.

Douglas graduated from Johnstown-Monroe High School in 1988. Following high school he went to work for Flora’s Diesel Repair where he worked for thirty-four years.

Douglas had a kind and gentle spirit and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A visitation for Douglas will be held Monday, March 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 North Main Street, Johnstown, Ohio 43031, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.

Douglas will be laid to rest in Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.
