Denise Marie Wilt-Wells

Denise Marie Wilt-Wells, lovingly known as “Deni” to her family and friends passed away on January 20, 2024. She was born on October 28, 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio to proud parents Glenn and Mary Wilt.

Deni relocated to Port St Lucie, Florida to be near family. It was there that she worked hard in various office settings and raised her son Tyler. While living and working in Florida, she continued to keep in touch with her Ohio family and friends by sending beautiful written cards which everyone looked forward to receiving. She had a gift of putting thoughts and feelings into words.

She loved cooking for the many gatherings of family and friends. Which she could share her cooking talents. There was always plenty of friends, food, live music (provided by her cherished brother and friends) and especially so much laughter and dancing. Her last act of kindness was cooking a meal and sharing it with her devoted neighbors.

Deni had an extra ordinary love of animals particularly she beloved cats that have given her much love and companionship throughout her life.

Left to mourn her are her son Tyler Wells and granddaughter Mia Wells of Ohio. She also leaves her brother, David Wilt and sister-in-law, Kristi Wilt of Port St Lucie, who were consistently by her side. She will also be missed by her many friends that she considered family and family that were friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents Glenn and Mary Wilt and an infant brother. No formal services are planned but we ask you gather with some friends, turn on some good music and share a toast of fireball
